For beginners who feel stuck

You’re not bad at guitar. Nobody ever showed you the fretboard.

Memorizing the shapes was never the problem. That part you got right. What nobody taught you is where those shapes come from and how they connect. Junas starts there, and by the end you'll play songs that sound the way they're supposed to.

Built for total beginners. No theory background needed.

Most guitar programs hand you shapes to copy and stop there. Junas teaches the shapes and the fretboard logic underneath them. The goal is simple: you finish knowing how to play the instrument, not just how to follow along.

Sound familiar?

You practice every day, but nothing sticks.

You know chords, but songs still sound off

The shapes are right, but the rhythm and transitions never feel clean.

YouTube taught you shapes, not music

"Put your fingers here," never why. You're copying, not understanding.

No idea what to practice next

Random lessons, no path, no sense of real progress.

Theory feels like math class

Scales and intervals sound academic, disconnected from the music you want to play.

The Junas method

Understanding is what makes the shapes stick.

You'll memorize shapes, and you should. You just shouldn't memorize them blind. These are the three things most beginner content skips, and the three things Junas builds first.

1

Know the fretboard

Learn the notes and where they actually sit on the neck, so you stop guessing and start knowing.

2

Build real technique

Proper strumming and plucking with all your fingers, not just one. This is where most bad habits start, so it gets fixed early.

3

Play chords that sound good

Move past basic open shapes into the fuller voicings that actually sound good, always securing the bass note first.

What you’ll learn

From first strum to playing full songs. That is the path.

Not a playlist of disconnected tutorials. A structured course that takes you from holding the guitar to playing songs people recognize, understanding every step along the way.

Who's teaching

Junas. Self-taught for 8 years, teaching what took him that long to figure out.

Junas taught himself guitar. The hard part was never the basics. It was learning by ear, finding the right chords, knowing where they actually sit on the neck, and working out what to practice next once the beginner stuff ran out.

He has since taught around 10 students in formal one-on-one lessons, ages 10 to 18, mostly beginners and early intermediates.

His own piano playing sharpened how he hears the guitar, and the finger independence guitar builds carries straight over to bass and other string instruments.

In his own words: "I know something I can teach them to improve their playing." Simple, precise, friendly. That's how he teaches.

What students say

Real people, real progress.

From letters written by Junas's students after his Guitar Summer Classes.

“You made me realize that I shouldn't give up just because it gets to a point where it becomes hard.”

“You taught me that struggling with something doesn't mean I'm incapable of learning it. It just means I need more time and practice.”

The Smooth Plucking Starter

Your thumb is doing everything. Your fingers catch on the strings, some notes ring out and some die halfway, and the second you speed up the whole thing falls apart.

That's not a talent problem. It's a hand that was never given a job list. After this course, it has one.

  • ✓ Every finger gets its own string. The hand setup that makes plucking even, instead of whatever your fingers reach first.
  • ✓ Thumb independence. Hold the bass note steady underneath while your fingers play the pattern on top. That is what makes fingerstyle sound full.
  • ✓ Starter patterns that carry real songs. Not exercises for the sake of exercises.
  • ✓ Slow-to-tempo drills. So it still sounds clean when you speed it up, instead of collapsing at the first chord change.

Before you ask

Common questions.

I know zero about music. Is this for me?

Yes. It starts from the very beginning: how to hold the guitar, tune it, and strum. No prior experience needed.

What do I actually get for free?

Two things. Your Roadmap, built from three questions right here on this page, and Junas’s starter ebook. No card, and no trial that quietly bills you later.

Acoustic or electric?

Acoustic. That's what Junas plays, teaches, and has built his method around. Junas is a multi-instrumentalist, so as the Learning Center grows, other instruments and styles will be added. Right now, every lesson is built for acoustic guitar.

How are the 1:1 calls structured?

Each call is a full 60 minutes, live, one-on-one with Junas over video. You bring the questions: a chord you can't land cleanly, a strumming pattern that falls apart at tempo, a song section that doesn't sound right. Junas watches you play, finds the root of the problem, and gives you the specific fix on the spot. The more precise your questions are, the more you walk away with. Book as many or as few calls as you need.

What is the Smooth Plucking Starter?

A $7.99 one-time mini-course that fixes one thing: choppy, uneven plucking. It gives every finger a job instead of letting your thumb carry the whole song. Joining the membership? It's already included, so don't buy it twice.

What if I already know a few chords?

You'll still get value. Knowing the shapes is a head start, not a reason to skip. The tracks show you where those shapes come from, so the ones you already know finally make sense, and the next ones take half the time.

What gear do I need to start?

Just a guitar, a pick, and a capo. Your phone works fine as a tuner. Nothing fancy required.

Can I get a refund?

Yes on the $19.99/month membership. Cancel or request a refund anytime, no pressure. The $7.99 Smooth Plucking Starter is a one-time purchase and yours to keep, so that one is final. Calls are billed per session when you book, so a completed call is not refunded.
